Our current batch of young pullets are ready to collect now. They're 14 weeks old as of 24/9/20.
Mature pullets will start to lay at approximately 18 to 20 weeks of age depended on the time of year (Longer natural daylight hours will produce eggs at a younger age)
Important - Please read; It is not advisable to place younger juvenile chickens with adult birds until at least 16 weeks of age.
Juvenile pullets will require grower food from 8 weeks to approx 16-18 weeks of age.
Pullets can be introduced in with adult poultry from 16-18 weeks of age and can be fed layer feed from this time.
