Our current batch of baby chicks are ready to collect now. They're 1 week old as of 25/6/20. All chicks are guaranteed female.

Mature pullets will start to lay at apprximately 20 to 25 weeks of age depended on the time of year (Longer natural daylight hours will produce eggs at a younger age)

Raising your own chickens from chicks is fun for the whole family and really easy. Chicks will need a secure brooder and heat source for their first 6 weeks. They will be able to live outside in a secure hutch or coop from 6 weeks old onwards, just let them go and enjoy - A wonderful addition to any backyard. 

Important - Please read;

It is not advisable to put younger juvenile chickens with adult birds until at least 16 weeks of age.

Baby chicks will require a good heat source for their first 6 weeks of age

Baby chicks require chick starter food until 8 weeks of age

Juvenile chicks will require grower food from 8 weeks to approx 16 weeks of age
