I found both of these traps are hard to set until I worked out how to do it without catching my fingers. The springs are very strong and the holding catch is a bit of a nack to get it set, However once this was all sorted the traps have been working overtime. My rodent population is reducing at a rate of one every day so far. Once the rodent triggers the trap the rodent stays trapped and very dead, no escape. The traps are also very easy to release the body without having to touch it. My cats are very pleased with this purchase.
We investigated a range of auto doors for the coop, and while this one is the most expensive it it also the most reliable. Our coop is a long way from the house and we didn't want to risk the chooks getting caught outside on a cold Southland night. Initial glitch to start with due to the cord tangled on the spindle, possibly during postage, but easy to sort out and the door has been operating perfectly ever since.
