These are working well and the best thing is we don't have to clean eggs. It took a little while for the hens to catch on but well worth the purchase.Thank you Chook Manor for a speedy delivery to Auckland. Always good to deal with :)
Interesting egg brand advertising spotted during a quick visit to Paris, France.
Greg, Douwe & warehouse/dispatch managers in front of our next shipment of products just leaving Olba, Netherlands. (Great packing guys)
Greg receiving a certificate of attendance at the 2019 Brinsea Incubation Conference from Brinsea's founder Frank Pearce. Frank built & sold his first incubator almost 50 years ago!
Delegates from across the globe attending the 2019 Brinsea Incubation conference.
Egyptian goose, Native to the Sahara & Nile have now become feral and established themselves through Western Europe. We spotted this one along the Moselle, in Cochem, Germany. Beautiful birds but apparently becoming a real pest in parts of Europe.
Maxing out the thermometer in Germany. There was no escaping the heat!
Here's a bit from our latest website newsletter if you don't subscribe? Greg & Cheryl have had a busy July traveling to the other side of the globe to visit two of our most important suppliers.
Timed 'not so perfectly' to hit the UK & Europe just as their biggest heat wave & highest temperatures in history hit. Worst part was most of the places stayed in didn't have air-con. Experiencing 51° in Germany and for 2 weeks in UK & Europe it didn't really drop below 30°, even at night!
The trip included an important incubation conference at the Brinsea Factory where more than a dozen of Brinsea's agents from around the globe attended. This was Greg's second conference at Brinsea in England. It's a great opportunity to increase knowledge of incubation & more importantly see how Brinsea manufacture, run & test these brilliant incubators which are still hand built by humans in England.
Greg & Cheryl also took a trip to the Netherlands to visit the Olba Factory & Warehouse. Olba is an important & integral part of Chook Manors success especially over the past 4 years & is now our main supplier for poultry accessories such as the popular Feed-o-matic & Drink-o-matic products, Leg rings & Comfort heat plates just to name a few. What makes these guys so special is the owner, Douwe Oldenbanning. Douwe started this business just as Cheryl & Greg did with Chook Manor some years ago with a passion for poultry & a love of birds & animals. Another important factor with Olba is the high quality & functionality of their products. Almost all Olba products are designed & manufactured in-house, in the Netherlands. Best part is there is no need to deal with cheap & nasty imported junk so you as the end user can rest assure we are only stocking the best quality products from all of our suppliers.
